Georgena Rebecca Moore was the granddaughter of Eliza Burgwin Clitherall. She was born on January 17th 1822 at Ft Johnston near Smithville, North Carolina. Georgena married Joel Riggs, son of Zadock Riggs and Ann Fleming, on April 28th, 1842 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Together, they had six children. Georgena died on December 29th, 1851 in Montgomery, Alabama.
Caroline Sophia Moore (1824-1903) (Eliza Burgwin, Eliza Inglis Clitherall)
Carolina Sophia Moore was the granddaughter of Eliza Burgwin Clitherall. She was born on May 8th, 1824 in Smithville, North Carolina. She married Dr. Marshall Henry Bird on April 10th, 1844 in Arcola, Alabama. Dr. Bird was a practicing physician and passed away on March 17th, 1851.
Caroline lived for half a century after her husband died. She moved to Montgomery, Alabama around 1878. She would pass away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Gena Goode Jones, on January 9th, 1903.

In a 1870 Census for Mobile, Alabama, the household for Alexander Hall (husband of George Clitherall's daughter Elizabeth), lists a young mulatto domestic servant by the name of "Tonton B. Clitherall." At the time of the census, George and his wife were living with their daughter and her small family. Tonton is the only mulatto listed in the household and does not share the same last name as the black domestic servant and laborer within the household. It is hyposized that Tonton may be the son of George Bush Burgwin Clitherall.
